Exams Not showing Up- Bitdefender Antivirus

For Bitdefender 2015 and 2016, please perform the following steps if still no displaying exams:

·         Open the Bitdefender window.

·         Disable Bitdefender.

·         Click the https://www.bitdefender.com/images/virus/settings_button.pngicon at the top of the window and select Events from the drop-down menu.

Bit1

·         In the Events window, select Antivirus from the corresponding drop-down menu.

·         Under Subject column, highlight the infected file detected and read event details.

Bit2

·         Click Recover and browse back the ssi-emd.exe file to the following location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Software Secure, Inc\Securexam Student

·         After Restoring the file, click delete all button on left corner to reset the event log.

·         Go back to the AV main menu

·         Select Antivirus (settings)

·         Select the Exclusion tab and Add the ssi.emd.exe file from C:\Program Files (x86)\Software Secure, Inc\Securexam Student into exclusion.

·         Get exams and licenses, Login and Take an exam.

 

For Bitdefender 2017:

·         Open the Bitdefender window.

·         Disable Bitdefender.

·         Select Notifications tab on the left.

·         Select Critical and show more detail. Confirm that ssi.emd.exe had been flagged.

·         Select delete All on the right-top corner.

·         Go back to the AV main menu

·         Select View Modules.

·         Select Anitvirus.

·         Select the Exclusion tab and Add the ssi.emd.exe file from C:\Program Files (x86)\Software Secure, Inc\Securexam Student into exclusion. 

 

·         Get exams and licenses, Login and take an exam.
