If you are receiving the following "Error During Enrollment or Authentication"(Screenshot below) please try the solution below.

Error during enrolment or authentication

  1. Launch Remote Proctor Securexam Browser.
  2. Click "Help" in the top left corner
  3. Select "Update"
  4. Click "Ok" on the Web Update Wizard window
  5. If the Securexam Browser does not close, please close the software

If the computer does not shutdown and reboot, please manually shutdown and reboot the machine. Once the computer restarts please follow the steps below.

  1. Open Start Menu on the Task Bar
  2. In the search menu(under 'All Programs') type "services.msc"
  3. Scroll down to "SSIRuntime" and highlight and right-click it
  4. Select Properties
  5. Check that the Service Status is "Started" and that the "Startup Type" is set to Automatic. Click "Start" if it shows anything else
  6. Click Apply and Ok

You should now be able to relaunch the software without any errors. If you continue to receive an error, please contact us back.
